Salman Khan firing case: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother gave 9-minute-long ‘motivational’ speech to shooters before the incident

On April 14, two bike-borne men opened fire outside the Bandra residence of actor Salman Khan. Days after Salman recorded his statement in the shooting incident, the chargesheet filed reveals what gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi told the shooters before the firing. Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother gave 9-minute-long ‘motivational’ speech

In the 1,735-page chargesheet accessed by NDTV, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi gave a 9-minute-long ‘motivational’ speech to the two shooters before the firing incident. In the chargesheet accessed by NDTV, Anmol reported told the two shooters – Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal that they should, “do this work well” as “after the work is completed, you guys will script history,”

The audio message also recorded him saying, “Do not be afraid at all while doing this work. Doing this work means bringing a change in the society“. The audio message also asked the shooters to “fire shots in such a manner that it scares Salman Khan”. They were also asked not to wear helmets and smoke cigarettes to appear fearless.

Salman Khan says Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang tried to kill him

When providing his statement in the case, Salman Khan said, “I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4.55 am, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment’s first-floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learnt that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack from social media. So, I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony.”

He continued, “Earlier also, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members in an interview talked about killing me and my relatives. So, I believe that Lawrence Bishnoi, with the help of his gang members carried out the firing incident when my family members were sleeping inside and planning to kill me and my family members so they carried out the attack.”

On April 14, two bike-borne men opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence in Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra. The shooters – Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal – were soon arrested from Gujarat. Days later, Anuj Thapan was arrested from Punjab for his involvement in the shooting. However, Thapan allegedly committed suicide on May 1 inside the toilet while in the custody of Mumbai police’s crime branch. The Bombay HC recently ordered the removal of the actor’s name in the custodial death of the accused case.
